Seated in Heavenly Places
Eph 2:5-6 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Geographically and physically, the Christian is now on earth. Yet the Bible says we are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Spiritually and authoritatively we are seated in heavenly places in Christ. Our lives are hid in Christ. In Him we live and move and have our being.
Spiritually, Christians have been born of the spirit and made citizens of Heaven. Authoritatively, we are far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion. (Eph 1:21) Therefore, we should be heavenly minded, spirit led, and kingdom motivated as we live by dominion principles.
Jesus Christ gives you new life. In Christ, Christians are brand new creations whose lives are hid in Christ. As a result you are in the family of God and a citizen of heaven.
2 Cor 5:19-20 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
Prayer Focus: Thank you Lord for making me sit in heavenly places in Christ.
Verse of the Day: Phil 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
Living the Word Today: Live as a citizen of Heaven that's on earth as an ambassador for Christ.
